Disapointed again, thought a point would have been fair, missed pen on 7 mins (really sh7t)screwed it wide, played and battled well, error at the back i'm told for Dork's to score (missed it), Equalised on 53mins and both sides had chances which Dork's took firing in a freekick on 76mins. Only half chances for us after that, ball wouldn't drop for us and Dork's held on.

I have just heard some interesting news about Dorking.

 

The current Chairman who owns the club is in the process of being evicted by the Council for not paying rent and the state of the ground. If this does not get sorted out then the club will fold as he does not want to let anyone help him so might to the cub down with him.

 

Could be an interesting situation as it could be the end of Dorking but also Bookham as they would not have anywhere to play.

My girlfriend works at the council, but I have heard from others also about this.

 

You must be in dream land then if you don't know what is going on, he people in charge have not had a lease for years and the Council have had enough with them.

 

It would be s shame if the club went as it is a nice club.

I know someone who is involved with Banstead and they say that the league have not had a copy off the lease from them and if they don't then they might not be in the league next season along with Bookham, Raynes Park, Merrow and a few other.

Would not be right to name names as I don't know if this information is common knowledge about which clubs have not shown a copy of their lease.

But I can a sure you it is 100% true.

I hear the people that own Dorking - The Collins have made a right mess of the club.

probably not although teffers is worth a few quid,

im sure bookham could come to some agreement with the council but notsure they would be willing if they have had there fingers burned by dorking already ,

division one for you then teffers its better in div one anyway well thats what i keep telling myself anyway
