Segregation:

Margate FC can confirm that segregation will be in operation for this game with Ramsgate supporters allocated the Coffin End of the ground. Seating and other facilities will be provided for Ramsgate supporters who are also advised that entry to the ground will be via the Coffin End turnstiles which can be accessed from Tivoli Park Avenue. Turnstiles open at 1.30pm, kick-off is at 3.00pm

 

This game is sure to attract a big crowd to Hartsdown Park so supporters are advised to arrive at the stadium in plenty of time.

Ah, my Gate mates, it does appear that we now all refer to the far end of the ground as "The Coffin End". It has definately become the official title for that area.

 

To make this, hopefully there will be a deathly hush at that end of the ground this afternoon when the blues are victorious over the reds!!!

Disagree with you there Tony about when it became the Coffin End. More like the late 80s or early 90s.

 

Dont think much of the name and will never refer to it as such.
