Culled from the Worthing website...<p>BAXTER LEAVES WOODSIDE <p>Darren Baxter has left Worthing FC to join Premier Division St Albans. <p>The restless midfielder's contract has been wound up in mutually agreeable terms, in time for his move to complete before the transfer deadline of March 31st. <p>Baxter, who has been unsettled at Worthing since joining at the start of the season, expressed his desire to play a higher level of football, and the club did not wish to stand in his way. <p>It has always been the player's desire to return to the Football League, and this move brings him one step closer. <p>(I particularly like the bit about returning to the Football League, the boy obviously has got sense!)<p> <img src="graemlins/ghost.gif" border="0" alt="" /> <img src="graemlins/ghost.gif" border="0" alt="" /> <img src="graemlins/ghost.gif" border="0" alt="" /> <img src="graemlins/ghost.gif" border="0" alt="" /> <img src="graemlins/ghost.gif" border="0" alt="" /> <img src="graemlins/ghost.gif" border="0" alt="" /> <p>P.S. Baxter cannot adjust to Ryman football.He wants to much time on the ball and at 5ft nothing

consequently gets knocked off it.You will quickly

learn his trademark trick[he throws his left arm

into the air and drags the ball to his right]the problem is most opponents also note it!I hope he

does well for you,he was a very expensive flop at

woodside.

First touch laid on the second goal and his second touch earnt him a yellow card - don't EFM give out honourary memberships for that kind of thing?
