Those of you who enjoyed standing behind the goal at the Swanscombe end yesterday may be pleased to know that the matches against Southport and Northwich will not be segregated.

 

The match against St Albans will be.

My old man was a little confused and thought it was good sportsmanship when the Swanscombe End were clapping when we scored. Bless his heart.

It's good standing up at the Swanscombe End, especially on a nice sunny day. Just out of interest, are we expecting 500 "herberts" ( for want of a better word !) to descend on us for the St Albans game then ? If so it will be good for crowd numbers.

It isn't so much the numbers, but it seems that as they have made no impression on the field, they have some morons who are trying to make one off the field.

Hopefully "Crutches boy" will be in attendance. Those at the away game on September the 23rd, mine and Liams birthday, will know what I mean.

I hope he attends to. Also I expect an appearence a certain upstart from an away Ryman league fixture. Having been hit by a ball, which knocked his chips from his hand at half-time (in itself amusing), he then decided to run for the next ball which went into the stand and kick it as far from the training players as possible. A great memory.

Let us hope that by the time we play St Albans the ground will be so full with "Jonny come lately, might as well see what the fuss is about, oh! the Fleet might go up 'fans'" that crowd control could be an issue in any case.
