I think it is time to reasess the type of players we have now got at the club. some of them were let go by the likes of Gravesend Billericay etc. Obviously they were not deemed good enough for them and look where they are now. They seemed to have managed to bring in better and yonger players Maybe its time to get rid of some of the players who imo are just going through the motions picking up their paychecks. Keep the two goalkeepers Sappleton Sauders Hocton and Harworth and skinner get rid of the rest and bring a few reserves in and let them gel together

Of the Billericay players we did not kick them out

Trott left as he wanted a club near his home

Hockton as you paid a decent amount for him

Sappleton as he wanted a contract and a club nearer his home in North London and ends up playing for you

Trotty and Pat have been replaced well but Danny I would love to see back

The thing is that promotion is still achievable. Even after just 3 wins in the last 14 games. The Gate do have some other good players.
But either way,there is likely to be some big changes pre season. If the club dont get in the play offs its hard to believe Trott will stay. And if they do, iam sure he will want to bring in some new players.
If its rymans next year,the club will have to show more faith in local talent.

I don't think this is a kind of question that should be brought up yet. I know who i want here and who i don't want here and i will say at the end of the season.

 

 

I can't honestly see Trotty staying at all.
