I was told that Ross has a broken nose and was suffering from double vision and was due to go to hospital. Apparently the Club doctor wasn't at the match today. The paramedic who treated Ross in front of the tunnel was not an arranged replacement for the doctor, but one who actually travels with FGR to their away games. If he hadn't have been there it seems that there would have been no immediate medical attention at all.

I hope that you make a speedy recovery Ross. Best wishes!

A slightly humourous (?) comment here ( and with no disrespect to anyone ), but, as Alanis Morissette would have said, isn't it ironic, that when a doctor is required, he is not present ? Almost as funny as the reported tale of the Groundsman going home prior to the deluge that caused the original Halfax game to be abandoned ( I heard he'd gone to get more Fork Handles !)........and almost as tragic as Archbishop Wilfred, slipping & falling backwards onto the spire of Norwich Cathedral ( or was it Archbishop Bertram being hit by a falling gargoyle whilst swimming off Beachy Head ?)

Cheers,
