sorry, i did mean well done on your point, but to be honest it did feel like we lost. I can't tell you who should have gone because i just saw a huge group of players beating the [****!!****] out of eachother. A lot of punches were thrown by both sets of players, we should have had more sent off as should Slough. The guy on the floor kicked our number 9 before our number 9 started to hit your player (i know this because i saw it) so that player on the floor should have gone. There was also a player who lashed out at our number 7.

The ref bottled it and settled for sending one from each side off as he did not have a clue as what to do!

What a good result - the perfect way to bounce back from a 0-9 demolition job, and by the sounds of it we were maybe a bit unlucky not to hold on for the 2-1 win. Was disappointed I couldn't make it. Well done boys.

 

It's strange really - looking at yesterday's team, it's far from our strongest, even by our standards, and yet we throw up what has to be considered a shock result. Makes you wonder why we couldn't do better against East Thurrock, Walton, and others.

 

It's a funny old game, as Margate found out yesterday. Sad to see a little bit of bitterness from some of the Margate fans, but I think our boys had a point to prove. These things happen, and Margate still have a decent chance of making the playoffs - just need to beat Ramsgate to stay in the hunt tomorrow.

Once again the officials did an appalling job - the linesman nearest the scuffle did nothing to either stop the game or the fisticuffs!!

Same here mate, i don't think any of our supporters left early, it was just that quite a few (including myself) went round to the side by the Margate dugout to see what was being shouted out from our gaffers.

 

I gave the lino an earful on the way back round to behind the goal, he was disgraceful.

I think the incomptence of that lino is shown in photo 22 of Horsham Rebels photos. Just look where he is when it all kicked (quite litterially) off. How your 6 and our 9 did not even get yellows was amazing. But hey that is the standard of Ryman men in Black.

It isn't the officials job to split up fights but to deal with the initial punishment after.

When doing the referee's course you are taught to use common sense, OK most of them don't, and common sense tells me that if a group of blokes are knocking seven shades of [****!!****] out of each other then don't walk into the middle of them.

Ahhhhh that explains the abuse to the manager in the thread on your forum. I thought a load had sodded off on principle, cant blame em if they had, good luck to your boys please overtake AFC..
