Okey cokey, we are ready to rock and roll.

Here is Time FM's take on today's game ....

Wivenhoe Town v AFC Hornchurch at Broad Lane

While the spotlight, quite rightly this weekend is on Dagenham & Redbridge, it shouldn’t be forgotten that mathematically, AFC Hornchurch need just two points to clinch the Ryman One North title, and promotion to the Premier Division.

Admittedly, Urchins boss, Colin McBride, brought a lot of the former Thurrock team with him last summer, but that was never going to guarantee success. McBride has done a good job of pushing them along, a bit like a jockey, using the whip, just when needed.

It shouldn’t be this weekend, and Urchins know victory in north Essex will bring a second piece of silverware to join the Essex senior Cup, in the Bridge Avenue trophy cabinet. In fact with such superior goal difference, a point will likely do. Harlow, meanwhile, must beat Maldon and hope, any other result for them and Urchins are champions.

Kris Lee picked up the March Golden Boot Award this week for his seven goals last month. Expect a double celebration come Saturday evening.

Teams have been posted.

Nice afternoon, pitch a bit sandy but fine. The pitch is marked out for American football as well as "our" football because it was recently used to stage a game of American football.

About 120 to 150 Urchins at the ground. Reasonably high security presence which suggests a large crowd is expected.

Time FM have a reporter at the gaem so will listen in and add their comments to Unc's.

Ref. seems a bit inconsistent. He has booked Andy Tomlinson for a very inocuous challenge and had words with Garry Cross for nobody knows what! Home indiscretions seem to be going unpunished. On the face of it he seems a bit of a "homer". Time will tell.

Wivenhoe are certainly showing a lot of spirit (as indeed they did against Harlow on Wednesday).

Max has just given his half time report to Time FM (Nice one Max!) Pretty even first half with Wivenhoe raising their game - as most teams have tried to do when playing us this season. Wivenhoe may have had the better of the chances in the first half but it's still 0-0 and we hope for better things to come.

One point will enable us to win the league on goal difference (should Harlow win ALL of their remaining games).

There is no such thing as winning it at this stage on goal difference wink

Howdy Ian, glad for some company. Been on my own for ages here. Well, I guess we shall not debate that one Ian. We already have enough points I feel. I am sure the League Trophy would come to us if we had the same number of points as Harlow but a better goal difference.

Harlow are drawing 0-0 at half time.
