I know we are all very wary of the fact that Slough are already relegated and, as such, have nothing to lose, but it really should be a stroll tomorrow. Get the ball on the deck and the game is ours for the taking. Having said that, I think we will probably make hard work of it but still come through. Going for a 2-0 Gate win.

No score prediction from me you will all be pleased to hear but we DO have to win this one to keep the interest going. We need some GOALS too. If AFC lose tommorow at Borehamwood (which is quite possible) then a good goal tally down there at Slough could see us leapfrog AFC tomorrow night.We still have possibilities despite Bromleys result today.I think however that Dutch_Mike might be near the mark for tomorrows outcome though somehow.

As are goal difference is 5 worse than Annal F***ing Cheats then if we beat Slough (proper football club with proper history) by 3 clear goals and AFC lose by 2 goals we will go above them. Also if Tonbridge Angels win tomorrow then they go above Rams***t.

Absolutely right Joseba.Equally if we win by 5 & AFC lose by just 1 we still go above them.Alternatively if AFC lose 1-0 & we win 4-0 we go above them on goals scored over the season so far. I think I have that right.(please correct me if I am wrong).

Interesting & probably hoping for too much but its still a hope that COULD well come true on the day. Anythings possible in this league,

even & especially at this late stage in the season.

Ah, my merry Margate mates, I think that Trotty will ensure that we just about do enough to win against Slough and leave something in the tank for Monday.

 

So, an early goal from Pinns or Hockton and a late goal from Bagley and we should be on our way!

 

So 0-2. Crowd 399

 

I am sorry to see Slough relegated and I am sure they will give us a good game despite this.

Pub team? Not true - it's a group of youngsters, some of whom are on loan from Bromley, with some loyal veterans thrown into the mix. And we've had a lot of this squad for more or less half the season now, as most of the players that started the season left around October time. Whether you think they are pub team standard though, you'll see tomorrow!
