RAMS Vs BROMLEY - result

Well I was at the game with the Pagester & despite him thinking it wasn't a very good game I actually DID think it was an entertaining one.Could have been 5-5 by half-time with better finishing. Ramsgate scored early in the second half but Bromley equalised almost immediately. From that point on despite Ramsgate still having chances Bromley seemed to take control. Bromley scored again in the 87th & 89th minute but in truth there really wasn't much to choose between the two sides today. 3-1 flattered Bromley but at the same time I think overall they just about deserved the win for their play in the last 15 minutes. Around 400-450 there I thought.

Makes life harder for us now but Bromley do have 2 cup competitions to deal with & the have to play Billeicay at home & Borehamwood away so its not straight forward for them. We have to win on Saturday & if we do(& in all honesty we SHOULD)we really do have to win on Monday now to keep the pressure on Bromley.Moreso because this Rams side will be well up for it,doubly up for it I would have thought after todays result.Trotty was there & he knows full well the feelings of Margate fans & the need in getting a result on Monday.Lets hope the players don't let us down. But theres still tomorrow to get through first.

Not quite yet JJ not quite yet.Its not going to be an easy ride for Bromley looking at their remaining games as it wont be with us of course. All we can do is to win these next two games at least & try & keep up the pressure up on Bromley.A defeat on Monday & our season most certainly IS at an end. We have tomorrow to get through first of course.Mondays game is massive, moreso now than it was previously & we all know how big it was previously.

Rollox! l.o.l.
Guess I must be more easily pleased than you Andy in that case.(cant believe thats true somehow) however for today it seems I was. l.o.l.
Ref was indeed very good. No-one really noticed him & thats the way it should be with ANY referee. The good ones are the ones you DONT talk about after the game.(see, I was at the same game after all) laugh

We know you were there Danny. You were standing with BOTH of us l.o.l.

Now having made a good mention of the Referee can you Danny or you Andy or even you Abdullah remember any of the penalty instances mentioned below by Wardy.I most certainly cant.Mind you I could have missed them...ALL of them.Don't think so somehow, not ALL of them. And where was this so-called "assault" by their keeper?

Again I thought the ref was very very good yesterday & where these comments in this report come from I don't know.(Ward quote"“I’m dumfounded! I haven’t found one person that’s backed the referee, and that includes both his linesmen,” Ward told kentishfootball after this defeat dents his side’s play-off hopes.) Well you have now..ME!

Talk about biased reporting & sour grapes.

There was one penalty claim when welford got pushed in the back just as he was about to pull the trigger but I did'nt see much wrong when the goalkeeper flattened S Vahid just jumped as all keepers do with his knee leading to protect himself.
