Just back from the Hinchingbrooke Cup game, we gave it a go but Barton were too strong for us in the end. Zemah Abbey played for them tonight???

Miko, we look forward to the game on Saturday, I think MB100 and myself will be making the journey, maybe Spider too. It's always a good day out at Langford and it's a lucky ground for us but the way we are playing at the moment we are going to need more than luck!

With regard to the game, I think both of us are not in particularly good form, we were beaten 7-0 by Chalfont last Saturday and were lucky to get nought!!, but then nicked three points at the death on Tuesday against St Mags

I heard really daft rumours last night about wages being paid to some Barton players, but I don't know what the going rate is anyway in their league

Could be an interesting game, we've both been well beaten by Chalfont this past week and can count victories against StMugs amongst very few recent successes. I think we have now lost 6 league games on the bounce!

According to the local paper here Gary Fitzgerald is indeed still in charge at Barton - and apparently went in goal in their defeat to Evesham earlier in the week after their keeper was taken to hospital.
