Mrs PatMan returned to her car in the Milton car park tonight after work and was shocked, in a pleasant way, to discover a flyer advertising the next 2 home games had been stuck under the car windscreen wiper!

 

Well Done to whoever did this - from the lack of threads on here, I have a feeling it wasn't very widespread - but a great idea all the same. I have a feeling it wasn't done by the club, but by a true 'supporter' - hats off to ya!

A work colleague mentioned to me that he had a Fleet flyer left on his car in the Parrock Street car park.

 

I agree well done to whoever was responsible for distributing these.

Many of us talk about how these things need doing, but it's a big step up to see these ideas being implemented. Well done to whoever has taken the effort to do this!!

It was done by the club and a futher leaflet drop will be done shortly.

I had one on my car today in the Thamesgate Centre. I think its great they are offering a free bottle of Coke with every medium sized pizza purchased.

Lord Chas, a propos of intersting articles in the press, I enjoyed your 'Fleet in the seventies' article in the distorter but can you clear something up for me please.

In the accompanying picture entitled 'Roger Easterby pours the champagne' who was the bloke pouring the champagne?

I tnink it was former Fleet director Fred Wilmshurst.

P.S. If the Roger Easterby title was meant to be a kind of 'Where's Wally' I reckon he was standing two back behind Freds right shoulder...do I win anything.
