They choose the Isthmian because it was always considered easier to win than the Southern and so they could get back to the Conference immediately. kettering had the same attitude as did Yeovil who did eventually crack it. Farnborough were forced into the Southern when relegated with Enfield and promptly won it first time out.

It looks like we'll finally get that trip to Bath City now anyway.

No. This was in Fatboy's time when he organised a vote on the terraces at a match and the result was two thirds to one third in faviour of remaining in the Ryman.
