"I thought I should congratulate you and the team for the great effort made on Saturday at AFC.

 

As a long standing season ticket holder at AFC, an ex Wimbledon season ticket holder, and a FA Referee, I thought your team and fans were a credit to football.

 

Of course as a supporter of the winning side it was great, but I was very impressed by the teams attitude to the game, despite going down 4 goals in 20mins, they all kept their heads up and played to win, even right at the end they still kept fighting on.

The supporters too showed great support, never once showing any anger towards their team for conceding so many goals, I know many supporters would have jeered, and walked away.

 

Sadly for Slough it looks like you will go down, I wish your team well, and hope that next season brings you better fortune."

 

Well done to everyone who was there Saturday. Let the party continue for the remainder of the season.
