Just as on Boxing Day at Southwood, there will be full match commentary on the Thanet Derby on Easter Monday at Hartsdown Park on BBC Radio Kent 774AM with yours truly, Matt Gerrard and guest summariser...

So if you cant get to Hartsdown, please join us from just before 3:00 (Bank Holiday Sport begins at 2:00, and the first hour will preview the afternoon games and have the all important team news first!) - you wont want to be late - somehow I think we could be in for a cracker!

Happy Easter everyone...

Ah, you hartsdown headphoners, this season it seems to me that every time Radio Kent covers our games we don't perform very well.

If you have to listen my advice would be to listen to Mr Wells and try and ignore the fact that Radio Kent will be present. Perhaps Green is an unlucky colour!

I prefer Blue and white personally!

Abdullah now being read!

You're spot on there Abs. With Radio Kent in attendance it dosen't often see us get a favourable result I noticed too. They are a "bok"!

Enough of this radio advertising! Sod Radio Kent,Sod our own commentary(with respect to your fine service Wellsie) & All get to the game in person. Those that are able to do so that is.

If you live local & you are free to come along DO SO! To stay at home should be a crime & you should be ashamed of yourselves if you have no valid reason for not attending on the day.

Be nice to see OUR once-a-year visitors too,(those that previously were regulars-you know who you are)to HP on Monday.

If anyone out there has even a LITTLE bit of Margate FC in their heart should come along on the day in person & cheer on the team.

This is THEIR day to contribute something by giving their support to the lads & the club.

I cant even see the 1700 or so that went to Deadwood turning up for this one JJ. Mainly because those once a year visitors from the red side wont bother venturing over to us. Its o.k. for them when its just down the road from where they live but to come over here I feel would need just that little extra effort on their parts & some may not bother despite the importance of the game. On the other hand it might bring out a few of ours that couldn't be bothered to go to Ramsgate too.So maybe that will be offset then.We had,to be fair about 700 there last time so maybe they will come out again plus some others.I reckon about 1600 tops on Monday including those 500 neutrals that follow Margate l.o.l. grin(that should encourage a few more reds to come along now eh?)l.o.l.

Will be nice to see how many of our support turn up compared to theirs.Should be ratio of about 3 or even 4 to 1 I would have thought.

Anyway its what happens ON the field that we have to concern ourselves with rather than how many turn up to watch.

I dunno, there was nothing realy on the SOuthwood game. This one could g a long way to determining who has a shot at the play-offs. When was the last time so much rested on a Thanet derby?
