I'm going to concentrate on the plus points of the evening.

 

1. Excellent burgers! Proper ground beef and real sliced cheddar. So good I had two.

2. Tea served in 'china' cups and not polystyrene ones (polystyrene for take outs though). Tetley as well so all good. Only down point was blue top milk but you can't have it all!

3. Only took me 45 mins to get home.

I am glad you enjoyed the refreshments at our place. It was a scrappy game, but the most important thing was the three points, which we nicked in injury time. We missed so many chances in the first half, I thought we would never score.

We played at Chipstead and theirs was gooooooood!!! Best I have seen this season.

Can't argue with the result if you go by chances created, you look pretty sharp going forward if the forwards could just learn to finish!

Ended up freezing my nuts off at Sandhurst v Bedfont Green in our league, the sight of sun as I was leaving home lured me into a jumper and no coat, what a bad mistake!!!!

Bloody cold at Edgware last night too. Stand was shut and the few seats down the bottom were located in what was effectively a wind tunnel so it was actually warmer to stand out in the elements!

2:1 flattered us! We were shocking and got exactly what we deserved- could of been a different story though had Herod not missed a free header and open goal from a yard!

Wimp!!! Wait till you come to the lane. Now that is cold especially with the wind coming off the sea!!
Still it could be worse for you - the game could of been a Tuesday night lol
