Remaining games

Couple of games here where teams will be taking points off each other: Stevenage v Morecambe, Burton v York, Stevenage v Exeter, York v Oxford.

Four homes games for us, Burton and Stevenage. All very close to call, but we're right back in it and on paper at least, have probably the best run-in - not that it will probably count for much when all said and done.

GNFC: FGR (H), Altrincham, Southport (H), Northwich (H), St Albans (H), Dagenham

Oxford: Northwich, Weymouth (H), St Albans, Stafford (H), York

Morecambe: Stevenage, Halifax (H), Weymouth, Kidderminster, Grays (H)

York: Burton, Rushden (H), Southport, Stafford, Oxford (H)

Burton: York (H), Southport, Grays (H), Halifax (H), Northwich, Rushden (H)

Exeter: Tamworth (H), Crawley, Cambridge (H), Stevenage, Southport (H)

Stevenage: Morecambe (H), FGR, Tamworth (H), Rushden (H), Exeter (H), Northwich, Halifax

I do feel Morecambe & Oxford are all but there. The other 2 places will then be decided amongst the remaining 5 teams.

I have Burton to get 12 pts from thir games - a total of 78, Exeter - 11 pts - a total of 76, York 9 points - a total of 76, and Stevenage 11 pts - a total of 71 pts.

That would leave us to get 13 pts for the play offs which should definitely be within range.

Mind you, there have been so many surprise results, I could (and probably will!) be proved totally wrong!

We're all going to be proved wrong, as long as it keeps up the interest in the season then I'm happy.

The biggest game for us is FGR, win that and we could definitly make it. This saturday could see us return to the play off places, just a week ago I thought we were all out of it, just goes to prove how wrong we can be.

It's all now getting very exciting and I want this excitment to remain. People have said they want us to go to Dagenham on the last day of the season with us either secured a play off spot or being completely out of it as they don't think they could handle the tension. Not for me though I really want us to have to go to Dagenham needing the victory thus making the season go to the wire.

That may not be so lucky as teams that have already been relegated and relieved of the "pressure" can suddenly go on a run of good results.
