But could have been better. We lost nothing today as Bromley drew to Walton & Hersham just a shame that we could not capitalise on this. First Half we were poor, we were just getting hold of the ball and hoofing it a way we only had about 2/3 chances in the first half which is not good enough. They were all over us in the second-half and Mitten made an excelent save to keep us in the game.

 

Second half it was better we were creating more and we took hold of the game, Jacko was highly unluck not score with his effort about 15 minutes into the second-half. I thought that when we brought Howarth on we got worse, we did not need to change the system as we were threatening.

 

 

I will take this point as i'm sure others will do and it won't seem as bad if we beat Slough and Ramsgate.

it didnt sound to be a great game to be honest,maybe you had most of the play in the second half due to the wind.Anyway you never lost and it makes things very interesting until the end of the season ,theres going to be a few surprises in store,its going to be who can cope with the pressure the best,its to tight to call

The wind did a play a huge factor in the game tonight. Had not been windy i think there would have been a few goals and it could have gone either. We are still in with a shout for the title as we are only 5 points of Billericay and Hampton. If we finish the season unbeaten whilst beating the 3 sides we should beat we will finish in the play off places

Game was spoilt by the wind Margate played against the first half which made it very difficult to get any control of the game and ricay put us under alot of pressure. Defenders and Charlie found it hard to cope with but CM pulled of a fantastic save so Margate atleast went in at half time without conceding.

Second half Margate had the wind behind and started to put a bit more pressure on the Ricay defence but could not capitalise.

 

We were getting more crosses in and we should have won the game from there on in, Unfortunatly we did'nt put the ball in the danger area early enough with RH on we started to win a few ball sent in from oatsy but Skins should have crossed the ball in earlier. Another tireless quality performance from Pinns and Mitten.

But if you lose to Bromley and to us and we beat Slough then you would have lost all hope of getting into the play-offs
