Tonights games discussion thread

Anyone off to games tonight? I've got some business in Bigglewade tonight so am going to pop over to the Langford v St Mags game which is a big game for both sides.

 

Going on recent results Hertford should take Leverstock.

 

Now the game I'm predicting goals in is the Kentish Town.. I'm not sure how much of a team they are going to be able to muster for a Tuesday night game at Buckingham...!?!

Given the number of Jokers that have been placed against the Harefield game in the prediction thread perhaps we should have a vote on who will score more, Harefield or Buckingham?

I'll go for Harefield (sorry Ruislip Manor!), although I don't think there will be any massive scores tonight. Just been down to the ground for the pitch reinspection, and it's very blustery - wrap up warm if you are a spectator this evening.

Seems odd as we dont have a match tonight, we will be looking out for the results with Harefield and Hertford, as Hertford will have played a game more then us, and Harefield are in action again on Thursday v Broxbourne, so by late Thursday night we should have a much clearer idea of what is needed in terms of points to win the league, s the hares would have only one game in hand on us.

We are playing loads of under 18's and some fringe players on thursday against herefield (so yes malds, nf and htfc1, that does include me), as we want herefield to run edgware as close as possible for the title!

That comes as no supprise from a two bit club like Broxbourne, but I think the truth is that you dont have any first team players left as they are all suspended seeing that you aer the most dirty team in the leauge.

Oh......and thanks for the info as we will now check your teamsheet on Thursday and should you field a below par team for no apparent reason your club will be reported to the SSML, who no doubt will investigate the matter.

I didn't think it mattered what team you put out as long as they are all registered? How can you be reported for playing a team of legitimately registered players?

Oh come on Neutral fan, dont be so naive, if for eg a pro side fieled a weakened side for no apparent reason against a side chasing the championship, do you think that the the other clubs would sit back and do nothing.

If Broxbourne do field a weak side against Harefield it shows no respect for any side in the league, and it shows what the club aer like to not want to go and win a match against a top 3 side.

How anyone connected with the club can sit back and agree with that is beyond me.

I reckon blues 06 is bullshitnig as he is nothing but a big bullshittter, BUT we will now be watching very closely to see what side they field on Thursday.

I wonder what Hertford think about this.
