More praise for Rebels fans

Just thought i'd share a couple of messages we've been sent on our Slough Town myspace page by Rob Frankland.

 

I'm sure you remember, but Rob was in goal for Croydon Athletic when we played them quite a few times in league and cup games. Think he's currently at Horsham. Nice to see an opposition player remembers us.

evryone is talking about how rebels fans are such loyal fans and that they dont know whether they would support their club that much under the same circumstances and that they are amazed how the fans dont get on the players backs when things arent going well.

As i always said , people would finally enjoy the season when al;l hope has gone. And now it has we will, also i belive that i like this team more than the moanign whinging bitches we had at at the start of the season who mostly were, inherantly unlikeable.

What was VERY strange, was us singing the Hawaii Five O tune for the Wimbledon fans after they scored their 6th - 9th goals.

 

They stopped playing their celebration music after the 5th (I believe).

They played the Magnificent Seven theme for 7-0 but I think they were short on ideas for 6,8 and 9.

Not forgetting 'Three is the magic number' at 3-0. There was no music after 8-0. I think they had taken pity on us, but we wanted the damn music!
