Our Supporters

Recommended Posts

Trawling around the Non League forums and I have come to the opinion that we have some of the best, level headed supporters in this league.

Last Saturday we had a great chance to take a lead in the league and despite a great effort from the team, it just wasn't our day. We saw the post and a fine performance by the Ramsgate goalkeeper deny us a deserved goal or two, only to see the Rams nick the three points in the closing minutes. No one supporter (that I have heard) blamed the players, no one supporter (that I have read) has moaned up. This season, the players have turned in one of the most consistant and exciting performances I have seen for a long time by a Billericay team and the supporters have, on the whole, appreciated their efforts, their attitude and their commitement to the task and at every opportunity got behind the players.

Steve Kent said it after the Heybridge game that he was a proud man for the team performance and for the supporters for getting behind the players. I think we should all be proud of ourselves for showing what a difference "positive support" in getting behind your team can achive in adding to the players performance on the pitch.

I think that the supporters should recieve a certain amount of the plaudits this season for their attitude, their efforts and their commitment in getting behind our club and team.

Well done to all of you. applause

Lets get down to Margate and show what a great club we are tonight!!!!

I think we as supporters realise that our lads go out there week in week out and TRY to do the best they can. Whether we are the best/worst/average team in our league is just an opinion - But us as supporters really can see that our lads TRY THEIR BEST, and a wise teacher i had once said "All you can do is try your best and people will respect you more for it"

Our players were having a ball at the preso night and to have 'em there into the Cinderella hour shows what they also think of our club.

No matter what happens this season, it has been a pleasure.

Cheers Lads !!

(One Club, One ALL round Team, from ballboys to management) Oh yeah and us supporters squeezed in there somewhere grin

Row, row, row your stand gently round your track,

then merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily, row it right back

Repeat....

Still makes me chuckle that!

Can't help but wonder whether you are having a sly dig at the supporters of a club not a million miles away from your goodselves though!

BC, methinks there is a complex issue here grin Gotta dash, got a Towns R us bus to catch, and anyone who has travelled with our tour company knows Towns R us buses have their own travelling schedule laugh

No probs - I understand. Think we have problems with our own Cities R Us buses from time to time, but our fans always seem to get there in the end.

Moi? - Je ne compre pas!. Defensive or not Gazza, I understand completely. Some of our fans need to take a long hard look at themselves - we win, then the players are the best things since sliced bread. We lose, and they're not fit to wear the shirt. Must admit I prefer the attitude of YOUR fans (well, the ones on here at least), but then, your lads haven't f****d up to the same extent as ours, which makes a bit of difference I guess.
