Yes PBT it certainly felt like April Fools Day came a day late but the original result came to me by text which is an acceptable form of communication when the person sending it is known to me and they were - it was a blunder that, thankfully is very rare and for which I have now received a profuse apology. Nevertheless I am happy to take it on the chin and apologise to all and sundry and in particular, Barking FC for what, I suppose , has become the most famous ( or maybe infamous) result of the season .... 4-2 to Barking !

 

Back to normal tonight , I hope with everyone speaking to me rather than by text ?

Infact you just had to look at the goalscorers to realise that A.Woodward(2 goals) plays for Barking!

I was talking general and newspaper trade. I realise that good 'proof readers' are paid top dollar. It's just a shame the rest of the country cannot follow suit. Just as easy to to do it right as wrong in my opinion.
