Potters Bar Town - Didn't you go to a game then last night (Monday), you're slipping. Gavin - You haven't won the league yet but if you do there will be £60 coming your way, I was surprised that you didn't have more on as I made you about 9/2 possibly 5/1 at the start of the season, 6/1 was generous.

They are a lively team but a bit naive. Last night was their final game of the season and they have done reasonably well for their first season at that level. They were two down last night and scored twice in three minutes to level things but then Barking simply stepped up a gear and notched a couple more despite being down to ten men.

Difficult to give a full assessment of Beaumont as I've only watched them play midweek and their midweek side seems a bit stronger than the Saturday one due, I suspect, to the fact that they dual register Sporting Bengal United players who play at the same ground in the Kent League and have a couple of years more experience at that level.

I must admit to not reading the initial post properly, and so I thought that it was a Monday 3pm KO. As it stands we have not heard from the league what time the KO is, but it would be better if it was the bank holiday Monday, as you would get a lot more neutrals, compared to a Tuesday night. Then again the SSML seem to have an aversion to playing on bank holidays, thus the lack of games on boxing day and no games this coming Easter Monday, when teams could get bigger gates.

Okay, well Beaumont Athletic is down the road from you isn't it so you had time to go to your local pub afterwards and chat up the new barmaid, you didn't mention that you had been to a game first. Did Aaron Hutchins play at the back for Beaumont, a tall imposing character in the old fashioned centre half who always comes up for corners Jack Charlton style.
