Great idea but an absoloute joke in selling, what a pathetic way to market a decent product.

The football side of the club is so often let down by what is supposed to be an "engine room" of proactive lower league clubs.

Nothing about this on the web site.

If I had of known about this earlier I would have got a few mates to tag along and who knows one or two may have come back.

I feel sorry for the players and some of the hardworking supporters that you have to tolerate this level of incompetence at such an important time of the season, maybe if the York result had gone wrong it wasnt going to happen?

My friends Dad is a season ticket holder and he said last night he is not sure if he has to pay or not. Does any one know what the position is there ?

The first time I heard of this entrance price cut was via this forum.

 

Perhaps someone should tell the powers that be at Stonebridge Road that not everyuone in Gravesend or the surrounding areas listens to Gillingham FC Radio (sorry radio Kent)

Kids are free with a paying adult, concessions are £4.00

I know that this has again been poorly advertised but a lot of you seem to be suggesting that if it were better advertised then it would get the sufficiant support to make it worth while, it wouldn't.

The danger of announcing price reductions so late is that it may only benefit those who were intending to go anyway, thus costing the club financially without even providing a potential longer-term boost to the supporter base.

 

As Paul suggests, with Champions League football on TV tonight the attendance could be relatively low anyway, better publicity or not. But it will be difficult for the club to gauge the potential success levels of such schemes if publicity for them is at a premium.

Good way of looking at it Alan. Even though not as many there tonight, I thought the atmosphere was quite good.
