I find it strange that you haven't touched on my earler post on the Haringey Borough thread as yet regarding the Club becoming a focal point for the Community and all the exciting partnerships springing up all over the place. Also you haven't touched on Tuesday evenings fixture with Kingsbury (we're you there) or enlightened us on Haringey's Centenary plans as you must know, furthermore will you be at Hertford Town on Saturday and how do you see the game going. I'll leave you to get typing.

I thought Forum etiquette was not to mention people by name. The likes of Potters Bar Town, Lato, Spidermanor, 3praise, Horace and Maldini must be gutted that the pendulam has recently swung in my favour on here with RobbieO and your good self singing my praises. Thanks for your kind support as the stick I receive personally, as well as my Club and the Head Coach, had started to get to me a bit, you're right it can be construed as psychological bullying.

You know how to treat a new found friend, don't you Rhodes? Point out straight away something he's done wrong!

Is that why Potters Bar Town seems to avoid it like the plague and is always on here, I think he finds you a bit of a threat as you're not afraid to slap him down and he feels uncomfortable posting on your Forum.

I think I posted once on the Bowers and Pitsea Forum ahead of their FA Cup Extra Preliminary Round tie with Haringey in August but that's about it, why do you ask.

Potters Bar Town - I assume that you wrote the following statement for your Website personally when the groundshare agreement came to an abrupt end at Parkfield after only one season as opposed to the two we fully expected, I wouldn't say that you have exactly 'wished your friends from Camden all the best in their future endeavours' would you:

SURBURBAN LEAGUE AGM
The club have re-formed the reserve side for the coming season and we have been accepted into the North Division of the Surburban League. There are presently 15 clubs in our division but there is a possibility that one more may be added before the season starts. This means that the groundshare agreement with Kentish Town FC has come to an end. We wish our friends from Camden all the best in their future endeavours.

Well if you didn't write it who did and did you wish us all the best when we left Parkfield for the final time and disappeared into the distance. Bearing in mind what I heard and that you did all but click your heels and carry a stick every time we played there I would be surprised.

GREGG HAZELGROVE - YOUR CHAIRMAN

I start my penultimate programme notes for the 2006/2007 season by stating that the Club are very close to announcing where it will be playing next season and I hope to do this next Saturday when we ‘entertain’ Stony Stratford Town in an eagerly awaited encounter that will be played at Buckingham Athletic’s leafy Stratford Fields home where we only visited earlier this month playing out an 1-1 draw.
This season has been a struggle for us from start to finish and everyone at the Club deserves enormous credit for what we have achieved both on and off the field of play, one only needs to flick through this afternoon’s matchday magazine to see one good news press story after another including Worldwide recognition for our Head Coach Clement Temile.
In some ways it has been the Club’s most successful campaign since we were formed in 1994 however success comes at a price and due to the lack of facilities, with the groundshare agreement with Hendon Football Club falling through, and the lack of manpower to deal with wide ranging administration issues it has also been our toughest and morale was often at a low ebb. With the curtain about to fall on the season however we will all be able to take a step back and take stock before a new day dawns and we will start over again in August much the wiser for our experience this season in what has been a rollercoaster ride from day one.
On the field of play we were unlucky to go down 2-1 to Hoddesdon Town on 31 March in a ‘home’ fixture played at Lowfield and I would once again like to thank Hoddesdon, in particular their Chairman Roger Merton for all but handing over the keys to us on the day and instructing us to make ourselves at home. We then faced a long 120 mile round midweek trip to Buckingham Athletic and it was no surprise that we arrived less than half an hour before the scheduled kick off time. The Stratford Fields Club were the perfect hosts on the night in what was an enthralling contest however we were forced to return to London with just a point following a 1-1 stalemate having looked like taking all three when a Richard Lucas strike put us into a 68th minute lead.
As I said we return to Buckingham Athletic next Saturday in our final league game and I will ‘speak’ to you all again then.
