Tilbury v Margate reserves

Was told Margate went down 2-0 first 10 mins but score 3 in second half to win 3-2 Carl Barron on score sheet again 3 in 3 and 1 From Kenny Pratt.

Few players looking good but will probably end up at another club who use their up and coming youngsters.

Seems we are going backwards again just noticed now all the big timers are back the likes of Smith Baggley and Wisker are being shoved down the pecking order. I'll be surprised if they get a game again this season if the others keep fit.

Well done the reserves.

Great attitude and good management it seems to recover from a 2 goal defecit

2nd in league(promotion slot?) with games in hand.

I'm sure RT would play them if good enough BTW.

Still learning ,but i'm sure a couple will come through in time.

I note that Ramsgat'e three latest signings appear to all be from outside the area.Thingsare a changing there aswell maybe.

Managed to see most of this game, being in the area. Went 1-0 down early on due to a defensive mix-up. Tilbury made it two when our keeper (Shane?) saved a one-on-one but the ball ran to another of their forwards who scored. Tilbury's players had more of a physical presence and they made the most of that in the first half.

But everything changed in the first 15 minutes of the second half when we scored three quick goals. Tilbury pressed after that but we held on fairly comfortably. Mike Flanagan was among the 20 or so spectators. Spoke to an old fella connected to Tilbury who seemed to think one of our players (No. 9) was being watched by a couple of people from another club.

Speaking to a player who played last night seems the people watching were from Millwall! watching Carl Barron(9)BTW said he was taken from Ramsgate, Dover last year. I said before we seem to have two good lads up front playing here lets hope the club tie them both in son that we dont end up losing them for nothing like Ramsgate have.

Barron was with Ramsgate res this season and yes he was at Dover last season.

My point about the First team playing the youngsters was directed at the ones they have signed on contract who are not get much football at all. Why sign them on contract and pay them a fair wage and not play them. If their good enough to sign and pay then why are we not playing them for 20 mins to gain valuable experience.
