More Ground Sharing Revelations

It was anounced today by Havering Council that Hornchurch Stadium was to host Speedway next season by Arena Essex moving in lock stock and barrel.

The Council spokesman Lou Shale revealed that the current track was ideal for the new innovation being made of the kind of synthetic material ideal for the bikes and that the meetings were to be held on a Sunday afternoon to avoid clashing with any football activities.

Arena Essex secretary, Mark Skidd stated that the sport was going in cycles and it was about time Havering hosted such a prestigious and popular sport after the closure of Brooklands a few years back.

This is excellent news.

 

I also understand that a well known Essex Senior League club will be moving into the vacated Arena Essex Stadium at Purfleet, but the local council have insisted that the name of the club must not yet be revealed.
