Edgware leave it late with a penalty to win!

A 84th minute penalty gave us all 3 pts at Ayelsbury Vale today. Earlier in the first half Richard Morton had missed a penalty, and neither side really had much in front of goal in very windy conditions.

 

Edgware were the better more attacking side, but it took a Vince Rispoli penatly after Stuartr Blackburne was brought down to give us the win.

 

Still, we may not have scored 7 like Hertford, but its all about the 3pts NOT the performance at this stage of the season, and with Royston at home next Saturday, a chance to get a few goals could be on the cards, no dissrespct to Royston, but we should be able to boost our GD.

 

Harefield are still on our tails, but with them playing next Tue/Thur, and with no game for us in midweek, we should have a much better idea of just what is needed by late Thursday night.
