1/9/02 ONE OF YOUR CLAN SUGGESTED THAT ST. ALBANS WOULD WIN THE LEAGUE. WE ARE STILL WAITING FOR REASONS WHY. IS THAT STILL TOO CONFUSING FOR YOU?

On the 1st of September last year, a fellow St. Albanian suggested that your side would win the Ryman League Premier Division. We here at Canvey are still waiting for reasons as to why St. Albans would win the league. Do you understand?

 

Is that right, Tackle1Mong? OK, here goes.

 

1. Stop shouting.

2. On more than one occasion, a St. Albans fan has suggested we will win the league.

3. A team wins the league if they accumulate more points than any other side in the same division. There are more complexities, but essentially this is the main reason why a side would win the league; by getting more points that anyone else. One could say that last season, the reason Gravesend won the league was because they got more points than anyone else.

I UNDERSTAND THE RULES OF THE GAME. HOWEVER, I STILL AM NOT SURE AS TO WHY YOUR SUPPORTER THOUGHT ST. ALBANS WOULD WIN THE LEAGUE. MAYBE YOU SHOULD EXPLAIN THE 3PTS PER GAME THROUGHOUT THE SEASON RULE TO HIM? ALSO, I AM NOT SHOUTING, I AM TYPING! I FELT I SHOULD WRITE IN CAPS AS YOU BOYS SEEM TO NOT UNDERSTAND ENGLISH IN THE MOST FAVOURABLE CONDITIONS, LET ALONE AFTER DROPPING MORE POINTS!
