AWK - I see that Luton are in big trouble over the Mick Newell allegations, how do you see it

I am not sure there is much in these allegations Rhodes...the result of the Stephens/Alladyce enquiry produced nothing and so will this !

I see it that we are in big trouble I'm afraid Rhodes.

 

Where to start really, I believe that Newell was right in what he said about bungs etc and how vehemently he was against it. One thing is for sure how Luton has been run, in particular in the last 18 months or so, has been nothing short of a disgrace with players, management and agents all on the gravy train to the expense of the fans.

 

Unfortunately I do also believe that this sort of thing is rife in the game, yet because of Mike coming out like he did it could now be Luton who will become the scapegoat. In an ideal world those responsible will be punished but the reality is it will probably us fans who will be the worst hit.

Greg Dyke - I thought Griffin Park had a pub at all four corners of the ground or is it only two. Lets go for the one next to the souvenier shop but I'll let you know on Sunday if I can make it, I assume it's Tuesday as I have a meeting with Tottenham Police on Wednesday.

There are 2 pubs on Braemar Road, 1 on New Road and another on Brook Road, if that helps

This was where I read there was a pub located on each corner of the ground. Also when I used to go to Griffin Park regulary back in the mid 70's they had a souvenier shop called 'Bertie Bees Bazaar', do you remember that or haven't you been following them for that long:

I shall be going to Brentford Rhodes, though it will probably be a waste of time as we are shocking away from home.

AWK, do not fear, as Bees are very poor at home this season, I predict 4-4, and off to penalties !

My guess is that you are in your mid to late forties, hopefully I'll find out on Tuesday and if it is 4-4 after extra time as you confidently predict we will be in for an entertaining evening. Good luck tomorrow anyway against Macclesfield.

I can't see us getting 4 goals away from home, especially if the only bloke who can score goals for us, double scummer Furlong, likely to be out injured.

 

Do you know Luton have never beaten Macclesfield either!!
