Bad result after we dominated the game, but thats football, cant win em all. Ramsgate worked hard and i wont begrudge them the win, even though we should have wrapped the game up long before they score.

 

Was devastated after i left the ground, but looking at the other results and the table, its not all bad. A win or a draw on Tuesday, tough as that will be, would put us top at least temporarily. With Hampton v Chelmo on friday, we can gain points on one or both with a win on saturday. Theres a very good chance of finishing at least second.

 

Crowd was 650 odd yesterday, but strangely muted. I had a bad feeling before kick off, maybe everyone else did too. Roll on tuesday, were playing better away than at home at the mo

Oh forgot to say, thanks to the rams fans on here for kind words. Good luck to you for the rest of the season too, and hope the guy who was stretchered off is ok.

Well, my personal take on the game was simply - It was like a hangover from the night before On Tuesday we worked ourselves into the ground and to be honest it had to happen where we just could not keep the fires burning. But, the most pleasing thing was that we kept going and going and creating chances which another day (who knows) may have been converted. I look at it that we now do not have ANY pressure for home games as now we have lost the home record we can relax a little

I agree us as supporters were also "hungover" and it just goes to prove how we win together and lose together was the reaction from the fans at the end...All round applause! Unlucky lads ! Lets go again on Tuesday !

I would agree with your thoughts there Keith. My take on the league and the situation at the mo is that the other teams will drop points and it's how they react to that, including ourselves on Tuesday. On the other hand, if say Hampton don't drop any points from now to the end of the season then they are deserved winners and hats off to 'em...

 

But, lets keep the pressure on, this league title chase has a few more twists and turns before it's all finished...
