some good games today...we'll have our hands full with redbridge and I think harlow may struggle at enfield but the pick of the day has got to be maldon v canvey...big 'play off' game that one except maldon have NOT applied for promotion according to kempsters site...

I was answering the reply "And we care because" I just did not like the way it was put as I was simply letting you know the scores you were after. That all nothing more sinister than that.

I know most of your fans are decent, these forums are meant for good hearted banter as far as I am concerned. but there always has to be one who spoils things.

Any way good luck to you all next season in the Premier Division

I just wish we had our own ground with an income like you then I would be a really Happy Bunny.

I can see where you were at now having read back through the thread...I don't think there was anything sinister in the comment that upset you.....t'was a little unsporting I agree...

on face value we may look to have much going for us in income terms but the old stadium is a very expensive place to keep and we have that responsibilty...yes the income is good but the overheads eat into that and without the help of officials and sponsors we would not be able to compete at ryman premier levels......

as has been much publicised... the council are trying to get us to groundshare with romford next season which we are refusing to accept and will resist through the courts if we have to (unless the powers that be come up with an alternative plan)....so its not really ours as in 'we own it' although we have been there 50 odd years...

do you think we could be classified as sitting tenants... grin

good luck on the run in...

Cheers Unc, appreciate it, and you Max me old mucker.

I understand you have a lot of overheads, I would like us to get an income other than just people through the turnstiles, ie@ Bar takings, but hey ho, that's Life.

Stick to your Guns regarding the groundshare, we had that at Southbury Road with the Saracens, we hated it, they wrecked the pitch and in the end The Fabulous Stadium at Southbury Road.

Hope the results go your way.

Enjoy your Celebrations.

happy
