He has had his critics recently. But how many points have been won thanks to his goals?

In my view the front 2 have been really good but our midfield seems to lack a cutting edge and lets us down badly at times.

Let's hope they can get there act together and give Danny the service he needs.

I think the real problem is the lack of goals from midfield, there's no doubting our current midfield is full of talent but none of them are good goalscorers. It puts more pressure on the fowards if they are the only ones scoring.

I really hate to think where we would be without Dannys goals.

The midfield really needs shaking up at the moment.

Hopefully somebody will come in for next season who can create and score a few goals from midfield.

It cant be good to be so dependent on one player.

5 goals each for the 4/5 midfield players is a pretty good return in my op.

 

Yes DH has got most, but thats only because of midfield supply, but agree thats where its gone wrong in last 3 months-we are not winning the midfield areas so less possssion
