You must have been reading my mind Frankie in a way.

Was just going to post to see if anyone out there had noticed a "mirror image" of the way England are currently playing & underachieving with talented players at their disposal to us here at Margate.I'm talking about the players form here in particular & not that of the coaches.

Steve Gerrard is the Jay Saunders of Margate in that both are similar in play.Both trying to get the others going,both giving their all in midfield.

Shame Jay hasn't quite got the power in his foot that Gerrard has though.

We are all thinking a like by the looks of things, the whole management team need to go no good making one change since Sven left which was basically swapping Sven for Venables and promoting Mclaren as manager.

My choice in the summer was Coppell and now he has had a brilliant season at Reading surely a contender. Only worry is will he be respected?

If you mean the players, then if they dont respect the chap who selects them they are not worthy of wearing the England shirt

 

If you mean the fans, we are a fickle bunch and you will never please everyone....even if you win the World Cup

 

If you mean the media, I for one dont give two hoots what the likes of Harry Harris, John Motson and certainly not what kerb crawler David Pleat thinks or says
