Barkingside poker!!

Recommended Posts

After tonights game I was informed by our Chairman ( so blame him if I am wrong ) That Barkingside had there number 3,4,5,6,7,8 booked and there number 9 sent off!! Romford had 3 bookings I think so that makes an incredible 10 bookings!!!!!!! The Ref it goes to say was completly off his chump!!

A few times this season at games involving the Boro I have been left with the impression that the referee has been operating his own sinister agenda during a match which though competitive has been played in a mainly sporting manner by making such puzzling decisions as to work up the players on both sides into an aggressive state so that he can then collect a hatful of cards for his portfolio when they react to the atmosphere he has created.

Yesterday evening's Romford/Side referee was, in my view, a prime example of this type of match official.

This type of referee is a danger to "the beautiful game" and the wellbeing of the players involved in it and should not be allowed to officiate.

Tbag was you at the first game of the season between Romford and Eton Manor? The ref was appalling and ended up booking several players. He decisions were to say the least baffling including giving Eton Manor a freekick only to then change his mind and give it to Romford.

it was a good night altogether and The Rovers lads put on a brave fight, unlucky to lose in the end. There was only a thing i didn't like...seeing a man that has spent all his life building that club, brick by brick, sitting in the blue stand with us and not in the officials one.i might be wrong and might be was Fred own decision not to go there and people might start saying he has been invited, but for myself was the only thing out of place of a great night for GWR.There are not many chairmen that don't like the limelights anymore and prefer to remain in the obscurity smile
