at the end of the day smallsy we should be looking at a target of 60 points for the season now which would be an average of 2 points per match which would be good enough to win many leagues,southend manor should be a straight forward win on saturday as they seem to be going through a bad run,then basildon on the wednesday, lets get on another good run.

im not sure what the attendance was but id be surprised if it was over 1000. it was segregated and i only got there for kick off so had poor seat. leg room wasnt a problem cos despite large numbers the were plenty of free seats.

anyone remember neil richmond scoring a hat trick for basildon at bowers?,he was probably their last decent striker.

remember about 4 years back saw the esc final at roots hall between canvey and dagenham and the daggers keeper was neville southall.
