Nothing really to do with losing to be honest, have actually been very calm this season.

60 mins in to game and despite my asst and Reading's manager standing at edge of techinical area throughout game he insisted that my asst sit down and no-one allowed to stand, although only to us and not to Reading. I said there hadn't been a problem all game in the technical areas and the asst ref bench side hadn't said a dickie bird. I said that 1 person is allowed to stand but he rattled off the rule that you can go to edge, give instructions then have to sit straight back down. So sarcastically i ran to edge, shouted instructions, ran back sat down, got up ran to edge shouted instructions etc.....Did this 3 times and he didn't see the funny side of it! Had our bench and Reading's bench in stiches though!

Everyone has just got to chill out a bit

As usual they cannot have a sense of humour (Kroon Dog excluded) after having a labottomy (Kroon Dog Included)

Mind you El guffer, did he send you off for damaging the pitch or public distrubance caused by the UPROAR of you running ???

Having witnessed the infamous "Rungate" i have to say it very amusing and the Reading bench were laughing but we were careful not to let the ref see us as he may have sent us off. It did look like something old Cloughy would do ha ha.

I believe if the ref had a sense of humour he could have de-fused the situation by having a laugh and by just getting back on with the game. Dont know if he was being assessed but it may have had a bearing on some of the crazy decisions he made.
