Supporters Player of the Year

It is getting to that time of year when we have to vote for player of the year.

 

It is a difficult choice this year as there has not been many consistent performers. It is my view that a poy must perform week in week out and not have too many injuries. In these circs I am going to start my lobbying early.

 

JJ has performed consistently and been injury free. He gets my vote this year.

Goal of the Year for me is still Steve Velandias at Harlow Town. I just hope he can do it again!

Were you two at Wivenhoe on Saturday?

 

Simon had a stinker and had to be subbed in the second half.The only thing he connected cleanly with all game was the No8's head.The ability to simultainiously kick a ball whilst cuffing your opponent around the earhole at the same time,does require some skill,i'll give you.

 

To be fair ,Tickner is a tough solid 100% defender.Every team needs one,and he HAS been producing good consistant performances week in week out this season (although his composure in clearing or passing out of defence still leaves a little bit to be desired).Lets hope Saturday was just a blip.

 

Player of the season??? Without Craces or Rudis goals this season we would have been in trouble.Saying that,i can't say hand on heart that either of them have had a great season.

So, he had a poor game. As you have stated, it is player of the season. In my mind he is the player of the season and not man of the mtach on Sat!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGH!!!!

Jerome John. As consistent as they come. I thought we would struggle to replace Chopper but JJ has been solid all season.

Lets be sensible here, there is only one player to vote for as player of the season, Simon Tickner.

Solid, reliable, Mr 100%, would make a very good captain too.

 

JJ has had an ok season but not really stood out through out the whole campaign, after that im struggling, yes Crace has scored the goals but frequently goes missing in games, so for me it is the easiest decision we have had to make since our formation,

Although Andy Jones goal against Enfield is up there, for the build up between Dean Nyman & Steve Valandia as well as the pile driver of a shot by Jonah.

It's got to be Ricci Crace for me with Stevie V's being the Goal of the Season at Harlow. I cannot imagine seeing a more stunning Enfield Town goal again for quite some time.
