Sorry if its mentioned elsewhere, but been away a few days, and now see AFC have signed Jolly from Heybridge.

 

Really going for it-not sure if thats there 5th or sixth signing in last three weeks-most in the week before the hearing- which means they knew something about the hearing outcome prior to official release in my opinion.

I see that Accrington Stanley got away with the same offence too - big fine but no point deduction. Have read through it on their web-site, seems fair enough as neither player had any impact on the game(s) they played in. So still think AFC Scum got off scot free

The worst thing about this now is the Ryman League appear to be well pixxxd off with the Football League for over-ruling their decision.

The Ryman League make a very good case that the rules were correctly applied.

 

Makes it even harder to take if we finish 6th.

 

I guess by coming out and 'supporting ' AFC our own Board have arguably scored an own goal.

Agree..It states that AFC claimed the mistake was made by a volunteer who did not know what he was doing, despite AFC having a full time secretary.
