Just read on the Wimbledon forum that the punishment is now just 3 points with a bigger fine.

Sets a dangerous precedent in my opinion (the FA, not Micky posting before me) - basically the FA have said that any punishment can be changed into a fine given the right level of legal pressure.

An absolute disgrace. I bet the same decision wouldnt have been made if the guilty party would have been one of the other 'smaller' clubs.

 

Once again the big boys get their own way and it makes a total mockery of the whole competition.

And not only that, but with wimbledon being one of the richer clubs in the league we all know they would rather have an increase in the fine. But what if it was one of the poorer clubs in the league? They could not afford the fine so I guess that means they would be punished by losing more points and thats very dangerous! I watch non league to keep away from the Chelsea's in this world!

£400 and 3 points. Why did they bother? The FA would have looked less silly if they had just overturned it all!! A joke of a punishment. This just makes a mockery of the rules - if all you need to do is spend some money on legal teams to gain 15 unlawful points everyone will be doing it. Suspect the Wombles are over the moon - they won't even lose a place in the table. They're clearly more concerned about the position of things like our dugouts! Pathetic! Well bottled all round.
