Congratulations Jane!

Guess all your quantity and not quality didn't pay off Rhodes!

We wuz robbed that's all I can say, I presume Kentish Town came second. Fair play to Hoddesdon, I never said we were going to win the award but at least we gave them a run for their money which hasn't happened previously.

Who says you gave them a run for their money? Where did you come?

Horace - I don't know where we came, the first I heard about the result was when NeutralFan announced it earlier today, no doubt with a big grin on his face. I'm just guessing that we came second but I'll be surprised if we didn't as who else in Division 1 produces a programme of Hello and OK magazine proportions.

Potters Bar Town - You never cease to amaze me, why not just say bad luck, well done for running Hoddesdon close or better luck next year instead of making a ridiculous statement, you never give credit where credit is due particularly where we're concerned.

1) Say bad luck for what? You have no proof that you ran Hoddesdon close. You are just making yet another assumption.

2) I haven't made a "ridiculous statement", I have merely suggested a possibility. It never ceases to amaze me how often you look for criticism in my comments even when none exists.

3) If credit is ever due, I will give it. What exactly are you expecting credit for in this instance, and what do you base this on?

Well where is NeutralFan when you need him, probably on his seventh pint of the night by now. I don't know why he didn't say who came second rather than leaving us all in suspenders but as I say I'll be surprised if we didn't.

PROGRAMME AWARD

Well well well.....

Yet another award for the mighty Lillywhites literature. In fact, we outscored nearly every conference side too!!

Chin up Rhodes, could be worse. You could be homeless too....

Talking of which, I am looking forward to reading the Kentish Town prog this coming Saturday. I take it you will be producing one despite the game being played at Lowfield? Oh and by the way, if you are providing the refreshments for opposition officials, mines a pint!

See you Saturday,

Jonno

I'm not being arrogant, just the opposite infact. I fully expected Hoddesdon to win the award as not many Club's have a 110 page programme with an index however we put a lot of time and effort into our publication so are entitled to believe that it's just about good enough to come second. Anyway perhaps I should send a copy to the Saint to see what he thinks of it, he appears to have a far less biased view of all things Kentish Town than you, Manorborn and Lato.

Sorry for not being around last night at 11pm! I was asleep after a nice quiet evening watching Casino Royale and wondering where they got the pics of my torso to superimpose onto Daniel Craig!!

I wouldn't have been able to shed any extra light on the matter anyway as I just reported what I read on the Hoddesdon website.

Here are the awards as listed in the latest edition of Programme Monthly.

SSML Premier

1 - Chalfont St Peter 221pts

2 - Hertford Town 193pts

SSML Division One

1 - Hoddesdon Town 311pts

2 - Kentish Town 186pts

3 - Harpenden Town 89pts

SSML Division Two

1 - The 61FC Luton 137pts

I presume that only 2 progs were received for the Premier Division and just the one for Div 2.

Rhodes - first an apology for doubting you. Second, well done to HTFCew for getting second place in the Premier Division (and getting more points that you!) Just think, if you'd only put the team lineups on the back page, you'd have beaten her!
