Margate Football Club has signed Rob Haworth till the end of the Season. Rob is a centre forward and was previously with Carshalton Athletic. Rob will be available tomorrow evening.

Robert Haworth (FORWARD) DOB 21.11.1975 Signed Jan 07 from Metropolitan Police. Having had Football League experience with Fulham and Millwall he has played for Kettering Town and Aylesbury United. Had 4 seasons with St Albans City before moving onto Dagenham & Redbridge and then Sutton United.

he is a proper "old fashioned" centre forward who scored 8 goals for us in the 2003/2004 season after we had signed him from Dagenham.

Hope so Alan,hope so! We certainly lack in the aerial department up front.Only when jay gets up there do we have see any of that ability. No disrespect to Danny but he's not the best in the air is he?. Gives us another string to our bow now...we hope! Just what we were needing...
