Taking it higher I think Alan probably means.

IF they get their points back or get lesser punishment will there then be appeals from other clubs against that?

If AFC lose their appeal today does that mean that their points will officially be deducted & their position -18 points or whatever,in the table,be amended, officially,or will we all have to wait further for that to happen?

My money is still on 9 point deduction/9 poinbt suspended and thats the end of the matter-at least between Ryman and AFC.

Think a few others may bleat though-notably Altincham-but that was a different league

If 9 points are suspended Michael & they do no wrong in the future then that will have been equal to them getting 9 points back, surely?

Therefore it will have been a change in the rules midseason.

Sorry to disagree: it is not opening any floodgates, nor is it different rules for different clubs.

In fact some people seem to want to see AFCW unfairly penalised when they wouldn't want the same thing happening to their own club. In other words different rules for AFCW.

The 10 point penalty for entering administration is fair and correct, as a deterrent to clubs living beyond their means.

The 18 points for an honest mistake which gained the club no advantage whatsoever was a ludicrous monstrosity which has now quite rightly been corrected.

Yes this could be challenged in the courts, but what club is going to be the gutless cheats who start the action? Yes I mean that: AFCW didn't cheat or attempt to gain advantage. It would be cheating for other clubs to try to profit from their mistake. I don't believe any club in the Ryman will sink that low.

Now lets get on with gaining promotion on the pitch, which is where it should be decided.

Sorry Chris1 rules are rules and Afc broke them. This happened last season I believe to altringham so do they now get their points back and change the whole results and table. This is all down to Money and who you know, dont try to kid anyone different. No I did'nt agree with the points anyway but if I had signed the contitution at the AGM like it or not I would have to abide with any rule that was in there.
