DOVER ATHLETIC have been verbally informed by match officials that midfielder Danny Chapman was sent-off for making comments of a racial nature to team-mate Anton Innocent during our 2-1 win against Godalming.

 

The club, a supporter of Kick Racism Out of Football, has a zero tolerance on this kind of behaviour.

 

We, under no circumstances, condone any form of racism whether it is at our club – or in the community at large. Dover Athletic are committed to helping to kick out this unacceptable behaviour from football and our society.

 

The club will be in contact with the FA this week – and our lawyers – to seek advice before dealing with this matter.

To be fair to Ian for once Tony it is still football related. Goodness knows how many off topics I have posted.

It is an interesting thread though. As mentioned Chapman was one of our targets once.If he has done what has been mentioned then he really should be kicked out of the club bearing in mind their policy down there.

I think its a fair talking point even if it is a distasteful one.However there is only so much that we can really say about this as we are only going on hearsay.
