from anothers excellent site...in my opinion this league is a better supported and stronger league than the conference south....less travelling and therefore more profitable for the clubs in it...also 4 nice days out at the seaside and a cracking local derby with ricay (altho I suspect they may well go up this year)

some good sides in there but i think we all know that it will change.any two of 8 teams could go up from ryman prem and obviously the play offs in certain leagues will obviously provide a shock or two

For my sins of missing us play yesterday, having missed the train etc etc, I decided to go to see AFC Wombles at Hampton. Very good game, with a contentious sending off, two good goals and a massive attendance. H & R were well supported and decent people. Have to say I nearly got a smack from a womble fan at the end, but I was wearing my Urchins scarf which was red and guess which colour H & R play in....unwise.

 

All in all loads to get excited about next season, good football, good attendances and not too much travelling. Superb stuff.

i have heard that the wimbledon fans aren't the nicest fans around which is strange really as the original wimbledon had some of the nicest fans in football

Think Wimbledon have attracted a few morons. It's a similar thing to Aldershot. They didn't have the hooligan problems that they have now when they were a Football league club.

On the whole the wombles fans were fine. But there were a few really contentious decisions, especially the sending off and it all got a bit heated. When I tried to walk out this kn*b thought I was an oppo fan, but fortunately I didn't answer him back and just walked by. No one else cared. There are a couple of loons, but in all honesty they were great. Loads of noise and a lot of class on the pitch. Bring on next season if they fail to get promotion.
