Hampton away? You must be joking! They will win this league. Sitting comfortably in second and, when they win their game in hand, they will go top. They have shown something very few teams have shown in this league: consistency. You can't buy that. Hampton will go up as champions.

And, although it pains me to admit it, I think even the playoffs may be a push for us now. I hope I'm wrong, but I think we have lost our momentum and we are doomed to another season in this league.

It's a horrible thought, but after yesterday I really don't want to have to play teams like THAT, with THOSE sort of supporters thank you very much!

Sorry Lads....you're side really isn't good enough this year...and with 1/2 of Chelmsfords side now injured and sidelined for a week or two I see Hampton as champs and Billericay up in play offs.

Which leaves next season with AFC,Chelmo,Bromley still here plus the usual suprise package( Hornchurch for me..very impressive)...I think you will find next year even more difficult....particulary with the same players.

The side is good enough this year.

Thats the hub of the problem and source of our frustration turning to annoyance.

As for next season,i think most of us think if we don't make it now, we never will ;and not only will the sides you mention be strong next season-there will be the likes of Maidstone,Dartford or Dover to contend with;and we could easily fall behind in the Kent pecking order, let alone the Ryman.

Should be some good crowds in the Ryman next year though if Chelmsford,Bromley,AFC,Dartford and maidstone are theredrawing over a 1000 every week

And the other half will be crocked after meeting the thugs of Deadwood on Tuesday night. Why they will be joining IS in his wheelchair. (I belive his wheel chair is bigger than his head so it must be super large).

Hampton I agree will take the title now. Margate will take the 4th play-off spot(If AFC lose their appeal of course). As for predicting if we will win those play-offs,well that is another matter but I would hope that when the time comes our lads will stand up & produce the form to finish off a topsy turvy season in the same way as we started the season.I would hope that when we need the form & results at that time the players will respond & come good.

Ryman Premier Champs : Hampton & Richmond

Promoted alongside(via the play-offs): Margate

What a play off game that would be' date='it would show how far football in thanet has progressed over the years /quote']

Er yeah great progress for Ramsgate 2 league titles in a row and crowds have gone up by 400%! A few years ago when the Gate were in the conference and the Rams were playing in front of 30 and 50 people in the Kent League this scenario would have been far fetched, but your right it could happen. But look at the run in of the 2 clubs Margate have only 1 game they might expect to lose, Chelmsford. The Rams have about 6.
