We were very wasteful with our possession, got into some good positions then threw it away.

Missed Ada in the middle as well.

Not too impressed with the Harriers either, but they lived up to their name.

Onwards and er, upwards (?) another seven games to go. It could be worse, we could be watching England.

That's a little too negative, Yellow. At least we were here.

My newspaper doesn't go far enough down the pyramid to give the results from the Evening Echo Sunday League Division 7, mate. How did Canvey get on at the week-end?

Canvey Island were surprisingly tonked 3-0 at Bury but Saints fans shouldn't laugh too soon about the Islanders level of football. Next season you will almost certainly be playing only one level up from AFC Hornchurch, and either Canvey Island, Harlow Town or Enfield Town!

There will still be a difference between those competing near the top of the Conference South and those that have scraped into Ryman Premier!

It will be interesting to see how Hornchurch do next year as they don't seem to have been tested this season.

Canvey seem to lose every week. I'm surprised they are still near the top. Knowing Yellow, he's probably off topping himself.

Is Brimsdown's ground suitable for the Ryman Premier?

Tut tut. You lot really are grouchy today. I know it's Monday and that day seems to bring the grumpiness in out in some people but I was only pointing out that in some people's eyes you were probably doomed to relegation before the start of the season.

Hi Yellow. Most, but not all, people with the great gift of hindsight have it in 20:20 vision.

We know that we're not very good but only we are allowed to say that. We have to pay £12 to watch this stuff, mate [or £235 for a season ticket in certain cases] and we appreciate sympathy from the fans of other clubs but not their criticism of The Mighty Saints.

Hi Rob. Is Duke of York 'old' then?

Bury St Edmunds, eh? No, they're not in the Football League thingy. It sounds a bit rural to me, and brings a whole new dimension to the expression "going up North for a match". Which particular pub team in Bury St Edmunds were The Islanders playing? I believe that there is more than one up there. Was it the Dog and Duck or The Plough and Harrow?

The One Bull!!!!

AFF, not criticising the mighty Saints. Would rather see them stay up especially if it's at Grays' expense.
