No-an assumption,but i love 1-0's in our favour,and it really is imo, normally the sign of a good side/performance.

 

Hopefully some kind person will give us a brief idea how a fantastic victory was achieved.

I read that we are now third with games in hand on Herne Bay in second.

 

Conceding goals at just one goal a game, which is pretty good at lower league level imo

Heard from one of dads at game that we had a sratch side out with a new formation of 3-5-2. Heath the centre half missing and Allen sitting on the bench for first team (he wasnever going to get on). Gritty performance and should of won by more with several missed chances. HE said they only threatened once with a speculative shot that the wind made hit the crossbar otherwise would of gone well over and wide. Impressed they all played for each other with no complaining if they made mistakes and generally encouraged each other. Maybe Weatherley should take the first team???

How come Chatham reserves are walking their league when the first team are struggling in Ryman South?

 

If their firsts are truly better than their reserves, and their reserves are better than our reserves (according to the table), that means the reserve league is nowhere near Ryman standard.

 

Would that be correct or is there another explanation?

If you look carefully at table Margate beat and drew in the two games with Chatham.

Also if Margate win all games in hand would pip Chatham to title.

Maybe Reserves are about team spirit and using players you have to max potential therefore needs good managership.

Not sure you can make comparisons like you make between leagues.

Not sure there is much difference between Kent League and lower Ryman leagues. VCD only scraped a win against Reserve side sent there in cup and taht was a pretty even stevens game.

Not sure, but full of running and should have scored a few at last game against Dover

Dover U18s Last season and came over to Ramsgate Res start of this season. Never really given a chance there but Weatherley called him over to sign for Margate around Xmas time. Go pacey stricker and with time could be knocking on the first team door.
