vs Aldershot MoM

Lance? Are you sure?

Talk me out of the new fella please!

He gave Fleet a new option - a strong centre-midfield target, able to hold and distribute well. Bit lacking in pace compared to Sodje (wonder how those 2 would play together??)

Chukki brings a great new aspect to the front line, and now there is at least the option of NOT picking Charlie Mc.

Yes, I know that will cause palpitations, but after tonight's game a Sodje/Chukki partnership might be the answer to recent lack of goals

Got to say I agree with Lance getting MOM. It was so good to see him throwing his self around and commanding his box. Sacha IMO is close to being player of the season. 100% committment. Great desire. If we can keep hold of Chukki for next season I think we could have a new hero playing in the famous red shirt. I'm with Patman on the chukki/sodje combo.

I think Lance kept us in the game at certain points, and in the end you have to say that Aldershot's goalie saved them from losing as well. Could have been 7-6 instead of 1-1!!!! I though the new forwsrd, Chukki as he will become know, had a promising first game. Opinel was also his usual self, 110% committed to the cause. What cost us was the central midfield pairing of Quinn and Long.

Lance for me as well, Chukki played well for his debut, hope to see more of him. Seemed to gain more and more confidence in the second half.

Hope we get a result vs Tamworth, cannot make the trip up there, but York City away will be a test for us, next weeekend. Let's see how it goes, ONLY 3pts off the play-offs, WE CAN DO IT!!!

I agree that Lance was a worthy MotM. He kept us in the game. Chukki had a good first game but didn't score or win us the game. We don't expect Lance to score goals. He did what he is paid to do - stop goals being scored and his performance tonight was amazing at times. A refreshing decision to make the MotM a goalkeeper for a change. Well played!

I agreed with the MOM award, I thought Lance deserved it , especially with his save near the end. I liked Chukki's commitment and I think that competition for forward places can only do us good.

On a personal note I just wanted to mention when Chukki slid in for a 50 50 with their keeper. The keeper went down and instead of rolling around he got back up again and I think, personally, it was good to see, as a lot of other keepers would have milked that particular situation. Just a thought.

I think he got up out of embarrassment,

Chukki had chased that ball from the halfway line and was obviously determined to close him down, sliding in is never a good idea but the fact is he was never going to be close enough to block the clearance and he wasn't close enough to make contact with the keeper either.

Apart from that Bull had an excellent game, b*st*rd, although not as good as Julians, bigger b*st*rd. Why do these guys all wait till they play us to play their best game of the season?
