He was ahead and should have been given offside, but we were due a bit of luck and with yesterdays results going our way every point helps.

We have created an awful lot of chances at home recently, even in the dire 0:0 with Burton but particularly against Stevenage, Weymouth and Aldershot and I suspect our failure to convert enough of those chances and thus not managing to win any of those home matches will mean we just miss out on the top five at the end of the season.

err where did I say he was in front, plus he never shot he headed the ball onto the crossbar, the forward is only in play (offside) if the ball is played to him, otherwise even in a offside position, he is deemed not to be interfering with play, so not offside.the ball was not passed to him so is deemed not to be offside, think rule changed a couple of years back Van Nistleroy etc !!!!!!!!!!!!! so as the ball came back to him and not passed to him how is or was he offside ???? or have the rules changed back ?? even level now is NOT offside!!

Not true. Sequence of events I think was Liam's shot hit the bar cam back out to Ledgister in the mid-pen area who headed against the bar. By this time Charlie was in an offside position (imo) a few feet from the goal line. He was 'active' by virtue of the fact that he was gaining an advantage by being in that offside position. The laws state that being 'active' specifically includes playing a ball that rebounds to him off a post or the crossbar or an opponent.

At first I was too busy saying not to hit it from the top of the box, becasue I thought it was gonna be a waste. Then I was so stunned it hit the bar and bounced on the floor that as ledgister headed it I was already celebrating, that when it did go in I had alrerady fallen down the stairs Kramer style
